NAVICULAR is an all too common diagnosis, which varies in severity and causes differing levels of soundness problems. It is generally characterised by weak, atrophied structures at the back of the foot, making it a perfect candidate for recovery using a barefoot approach. Case 2
CANKER although rare, is traditionally difficult to solve, with conventional treatments often being invasive, brutal, and needing to be done under surgical conditions. This case study shows how these feet were treated, recovered, and stayed Canker free, with none of the usual trauma involved. The horse was also able to live out normally throughout the whole process.
